Programs

At the Whyld Foundation, our programs are built on compassion, connection, and community support. Each initiative is designed to meet children where they are, right in their schools, and ensure that no child goes home hungry. Through our on-site pantries, weekend meal kits, and strong partnerships with local businesses and schools, we’re making it easier for kids and families to access the food and essentials they need with dignity and care.

Every program we launch starts with one simple goal: to bridge the gap between hunger and hope.

School Food Closet Program

Each participating school receives a “Whyld Pantry”, a small, organized food closet managed by school staff. Students are referred confidentially and can select items once a week to bring home.

Student Opportunity Grant

Our Student Opportunity Grant provides $100–$300 micro-grants to students within the Carson City School District to support educational and personal development opportunities.
